Would extract the corn samples, wait until spring, plant the formentioned kernels in my mom's greenhouse, then enjoy a bountiful poo-corn harvest in the spring. Would then make many delicious corn recipes for family gatherings and tell stories of how Jay came back to win the Olympia that one year.
Not a bad plan, except with a greenhouse, why wait until spring? Constant bountiful harvests are within your grasp.
Don't limit yourself to corn-based culinary delights...corn liquor, corn-fed beef, etc...
You had a great idea; you just didn't think it all the way through.
