Parole is granted after you do 1/3 of your time in the military in addition to getting 120 days credit for every year in prison with good behavior...in addition to his 4 years of credit for time already served is why he'll be out in less than 7 years although it is likely that his sentence will be reduced or even commuted upon appeal since his sentence was much harsher than others convicted for similiar offenses who actually did so for money.  Manning did it because he had bats in the belfrey and had some sort of misguided sense of justice.

oh, ok     Maybe I'm thinking about the old days when 20 years at Leavenworth (or Portsmouth) meant 20 years.

I heard stories about Leavenworth.

Sometimes after mass showers, large amounts of sandwich baggies w/rubberbands tied to the outer edges are found inside the shower area after prisoners are removed. 

Mr Bradley should have his wishes granted so that he can be fucked long, and slow like the deserving little lady that he is.

oh, ok     Maybe I'm thinking about the old days when 20 years at Leavenworth (or Portsmouth) meant 20 years.

Honestly, I don't like the whole thing in particular.  He basically committed treason and should have been hung by his own actions but on the other hand, the Army pretty much held him hostage in the military despite frequent incidents, reports, and violent acts he committed....not to mention that despite all the shit that he did, he was allowed Access to all of that top secret information.



He should have been thrown out in basic training as the Drill Instructors recommended....but the Army was so desperate for computer whizs that they hung on to an obviously unstable and deranged lunatic......has nothing to do with gay or straight.....but the fact is that he was crazy as fuck and they Army should have given him his walking papers a long time ago.


So honestly, I don't know whether his sentence should be commuted or be much longer.  One thing is for sure....he'll be a multi-millionaire when its all said and done.  He's basically been made into a worldwide hero
