The truly fucked up thing is that while any intervention in Syria is a complete waste of time, money and effort...with the Russians, Chinese and Iranians deploying more forces in the region, it makes Obama look even more weak then I thought possible. Having to back down in the face of 30 year old Russian junk and a china that despite what anybody wants to say...can't project real naval power beyond their coast yet...really sucks. It invites issues that we'll have to deal with long after Obama is a failed footnote in history.
