Has Pentagon chief reversed his position on striking Syria?
« on: September 04, 2013, 10:32:27 PM »
Christian Science Monitor via FR

Gen. Martin Dempsey, the top Pentagon officer repeatedly warned against the costs and potential entanglements of military involvement in Syria. Now he's testifying on behalf of the White House. The nation's top military officer warned repeatedly in recent months that getting US military involved with Syria is a dangerous proposition... Did he change his mind or is he just doing the White House's bidding? In the past, he has made it clear that US military intervention could tip the balance of power in favor of Islamist rebels who don't necessarily have the interests of the United States at heart...

(The list of people who are against this war is SHRINKING.... and when dems from Mass are voting Present because they're scared to vote against it... Yikes...)

Imagine if Canada or Mexico wanted to bomb us after the U.S. Govt killed 82 children in Waco Texas during that raid - would we be ok with it?  Of course not.

Its terrible what is going on in Syria, but it is a civil war amongst two equally bad factions - both of who hate us.  Using Germany pre WW2 as an example is pure nonsense since Assad does not have delusions of worldwide conquest or a desire to take over neighboring countries like Hitler did.  If we topple Assad and let the al Queada and Jihadists take over - does anyone outside of the brain trust of Obama McCain Gramahm Kerry seriously believe that they won't use gas on the Alawites and the Shiites?  These same animals are the ones who bombed the WTC for F's sake!

If Obama/McCain/Boehner/Kerry/Graham and the rest of these clowns go through with this - we should demand their immediate resignation - all of them.

Think for yourselves and be loyal to your family, friends, and loved ones - not political parties or politicians.

The end.

great point here.   very good comparison with waco.   they bulldozed & MELTED THE DOORS the next day to prevent an investigation.  It's like syria firebombing all the bodies so nobody would know who did what.
