Where did u get this shit from? Israel is not more secular than the US and it is becoming more rabidly religious by the day. Even something as simple as marriage is controlled by rabbinical courts, which basically implements Jewish law. These courts won't even recognize a marriage between a non-Jew and a Jew, among other restrictions. Like others have said, why don't u enlist if you're so passionate about human rights in the Middle East?
So what? Israeli law is what matters. Do u think any western democracy today would ever tolerate a law that says only Christians can marry Christians, or whites can only marry whites? No chance. But Israel isn't shy about it.

However, setting that aside, you are a simpleton if you think that a country's self-professed claim to be a "secular state" is the end of the story. How can it be a secular state when rabbinical courts preside over marriage, which is in all the western world a civil matter? And that's only one example. I know this may be a subtlety that is beyond you, but keep at it.
