Why can't we hear the intercepts?
« on: September 10, 2013, 02:42:27 AM »
We're told that even the phone intercepts can't be released for security reasons. Well that's just not true.  We're given the subject of the intercepts and that's all at this point and we're told that proves Assad's guilt.  If there were a security issue with the intercepts, they would have been breached by announcing the intercepts excised in the first place! And that's an absolute FACT....  By playing the intercepts now, there can't be any possible value to Assad or his allies.  They can't learn anything new in hearing the actual intercepts.  The only value to them would be that they were heard which was already given away!!.  In fact not releasing these intercepts at this point can only bring OUR stance in question.  Obama needs to release these tapes.  They couldn't possibly endanger our people in the field at this point.  If I'm wrong on that, please feel free to let me know exactly why that is?

And if the intercepts say what we say they say, doesn't it automatically undermine both Iran and Russia's stance?  Shit, if we're telling the truth, there's more reason to release them.  But we're not?  uhhuh... why?
