Oh btw back on topic about the vid and this dude...

it's nice and all, but there's no way anyone will do that kind of calisthenic crap past their 30s if they have to work for a living, have a family and dont artificially increase their test levels by using steroids. It's some kind of fun stuff you do as a teen, maybe young adult for a while, to release your anger and excess testosterone, to impress the ladies and conquer one to breed with, but we all age and focus on more mature things later in life -like reproducing and raising an offspring, stoping to focus only on ourselves-. We re not suposed to do that kind of stuff for too long because it destroys your body after a while, especially when you reach your 30s and the body doesnt repair itself as fast as it did when you were full of test as a teen.

Also it has basically no real life use except if it becomes an olympic discipline like gymnastic for example. I dont know if anyone is making money out of it? Still it's better to stay lean and slightly muscular enough all life long to live longer, that's for sure. It's probably healthier than being a fat endo or a meso on steroids.

Epic video, thanks for sharing. Lol at guys hating the dude for being 'skinny' seriously... da hell?

First bodybuilder that tries to even swing any way will have a broken joint, bone, tendon, torn muscle. Try it.
Uh, Kali Muscle does some "swing any way".

There are people who work hard demanding physical jobs and die very old... There are people who work hard demanding physical jobs and die sooner...
It's a lot more complicated than that. Anyone who s healthy , doesnt smoke, drink, abuse food /drugs/stress and has a decent physical activity and the physique suited for said activity will adapt and live long barring no genetical illness like cancer etc.

It's all about how you adapt, forcing things is never recommended. I know ectos , mesos and endos who can take a beating 40 to 50 hours of physical job a week without taking too much damage as long as they dont abuse an unehalthy lifestyle , most of the time caused by psychological problems. Most of the time they re depressed not because of the job, but because of personal problems, which cause them to use drugs to cope. Some dont do any drugs, lift weights moderatly, have stable families, they re doing just fine and will probably "last long" enough to see their kids grow up.

Know yourself and find your place accordingly , it's all about creating the best conditions for your survival taking what you re capable of realistically into consideration.

Well, anything sucks if you dont want to do it whatever the reasons you dont want to do it. It's all about how you see things and how you let yourself discouraged, influenced by others and their states of mind. Look at spongebob squarepants, he s perfectly fine making crabby patties, while squidward who convinced himself he should be a movie star or professional musician instead of a cashier is frustrated all day long. His state of mind is creating the frustration.  If you cant find a reason to enjoy what you re doing nobody will for you.

Lol having a manual job past forty sucks.  Not that it's something to aspire to before then, either.

Frank has a pretty good level for a bodyweight enthusiast.  He may have done gymnastics when he was younger.  To uberman's point he looks over 30, and I'm not sure if he is or is not natural.  If that is his physique year round I might doubt it a bit as I think it would be tough to maintain that level of bodyweight with a heavy training load without some assistance.

Of course he is no where near the bodyweight strength level of professional gymnasts or even the Russian compettitive bodyweight guys.

Watch the video and you will see that the feats these guys are doing are truly amazing.  Granted they have this bodyweight strength at the expense of lower body strength, but it terms of upper body these guys have very high relative strength across a very broad range of movements.

Maybe a 140lbs?   I used to do this type of stuff all the time when I was in my early 20's.

well said.

a good thing bodybuilding(natural bb) taught me when I was serious(lmao) about it was that it taught me how to eat, how to lose weight, how to train and just a healthy lifestyle. My peers at 30 looks like absolute garbage. Even the guys at 25 look older than me. Skinny/fat with shitty skin eating like shit, smoking, drinking too much every weekend  etc. Doing that for a decade takes it toll and it shows on them. and every single one of them tell me how young I look. Idiots are to Clueless to understand that they are the ones prematurely aging..

Yeah any excessive activity takes a toll on you instead of making you last longer. Also it is absolutely dumb to want to go beyond your genetically determined somatotype / constitutional psychology. You better adapt to it the best you can, adapt your lifestyle to it. And again, just because you focus solely on something in your 20 s doesnt mean you re going to keep at it for the rest of your life, whats the point of being juiced in your 20s and fat in your 40s because for some reason you stopped it all and dont have the will to lift anymore without the drugs.

Video is very impressive. Although its all bodyweight exercising I have to imagine the odd angles and pressures must be hell on your joints.

Thats what I don't get about crossfit. You can achieve the same look (lean, ripped, fit, six pack) on a more conventional weight routine and diet and exercise. Crossfit seems like it is prone to serious overtraining.
