Thats a damn shame, Lee was/is one of the best. When I was younger and starting bodybuilding, he was one of the main pros I looked up to. What made you decide this Lee? Like what was the last straw?

lee lets be honest here. what will you do if you retire?

without bodybuilding you'll go into off season mode 24/7, and turn into just be another fat guy with tatoos all over, sort of like most beer gut bikers.

as a bodybuilder you have people who admire you, look up to you even. you have the best arms in the world.

as a driver you'll be just another driver.

you need bodybuilding, and it needs you.

like milos,shawn.lee has an impressive and long contest history.a competitive pro well over ten yrs,and he is still young enough to hang with the newer guy's.he has done it all and what's left other than win an olympia,takes a lot i'm sure to go year in year out and put your body to even 90pct of it's best to peak and be a top finisher.lee was very good at it.

i remember erading about Lees grandad breaking both legs whilst training, or something along those lines. What kind of recovery did he make Lee? There was a great pic floating around of you and your mum posing onstage together, how old were you?

You are an outspoken person, since you have retired couldn't you write a book about what realy goes on with the IFBB all the drama we only speculate?
Like the book Muscle but you have of course a much better understanding than Jon Hotten what is going on with the Pro's and such.

I for once loved Muscle by Jon Hotten, but the inside story of an Pro like you would fucking rock.

i agree, a book like that would be the biggest selling bb book ever. it would blow the sport wide open, and would be the ultimate revenge over the ifbb for their bullying tactics.

i thought craig titus was writing a book like that?

I read and have a copy of "Muscle" a semi fiction work on bodybuilding by Samuel Fussell.

Lee has ahd a great career and always was and will be a fan favorite. I just think he is stuck between a rock and hard place now with no where "practical" to go as a pro bodybuilder. THAT, may be he best reason for him to retire and move on.
