How would you feel about having an NFL team in London? Commissioner Roger goodell would like to have a permanent team in England.

My opinion: This dude is only out for the cash. He does not give a shit about the logistics of having an NFL franchise in London. The team would never be competitive with all of the jet lag.

there was a phase in the late 80's when teams sprung up as it was televised on channel 4

As an American, it is always funny to watch the NFL games in London. People wear jerseys of any team that is playing. Half of them probably have no clue what is going on.

Just what i was going to say, was laughing at this so much i forgot to add my thoughts ha ha. The few games that we host are sell outs - 80,000 crowds because its a novelty event. If London gets a franchise i think in the long term it will fail, people tend to have a short attention span and American Football is not what i would call a sound business venture for the UK.
