We’re going round in circles here.
I’m not trying to put words into your mouth - Just trying & Failing to get straight & direct answers
I do agree our very different life experiences have very likely influenced each of us differently.
Let me ask you What you think of Muslim countries & How they treat there own people
Do you see equality / Fairness / Free speech in these countries
Depends on the country. In the Middle East where the tribes have been fighting since time began, I think we should stop interfering and let them do what they've done for centuries. From what little I know about Sharia Law, I think it's horrendous. It is the opposite of everything I believe. You and I both would be put to death under Sharia Law.
"Sharia regulates public behavior, private behavior, and even private beliefs. Compared to other legal codes, the Sharia law also prioritizes punishment over rehabilitation and favors corporal and capital punishments over incarceration.
Of all legal systems in the world today, the Sharia law is the most intrusive and restrictive, especially against women."
My son-in-law was deployed to the Middle East three times. He is over 100% disabled as a result. The unthinkable conditions there changed his life forever.
My more concise answers are:
I absolutely disdain how people in some Muslim countries treat one another.
As far as I know, equality, fairness, and other freedoms do not exist in those Muslim countries.
