An argument over putting weights away after lifting led to a gym patron pulling a gun on a trainer on Tuesday, according to a Boynton Beach police arrest report.
It happened at LA Fitness at 2290 N. Congress Ave. at 8:46 a.m. when police say Wilsly Dudley Lacroix, 25, of Boynton Beach, pulled up to front door of the gym in a 2003 Chevy Impala and motioned for a trainer to come over.
That's when Lacroix, whose occupation is listed as a security guard, pulled out a gun, cocked a round in the chamber and told the trainer he was going to "pistol whip him," according to the report.
Police say the trainer ran inside the gym as Lacroix took off. The trainer told police he argued with Lacroix the day before about not putting weights away.
Lacroix is charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
