Bad breath
« on: November 27, 2013, 05:13:27 PM »
I have noticed that a lot of older people have bad breath. Is this just a product of the aging process, or is it more "I don't give a fuck about brushing my teeth because I'm old" mentality? Does it correlate with being old, and naked in the gym locker room? Hebrews seem to succumb to this at an earlier age. Thoughts?

If they are wearing denture and it smells really bad, it means they aren't cleaning them and bacteria is building up.

Kidney and liver function decrease with age. The liver will work overtime trying to detoxify everything we breath in and eat. And when it has trouble keep up with the demand, the odor can become brutal...

Crazy. So is this something I have to look forward to as I get older, like stealing without consequence?

Yes absolutely...And a lot of older people live in and out of the doctors office going on an off this pill and that pill when they have some sort of issue. A lot of antibiotics will tear the liver apart. Not to mention destroy "good" gut bacteria which really really get the stink breath in full force...
