I had to drive 45 minutes from the beach.  Nice gig, great pay, okay tips, female attendance was less-than-hot, but it was a cool 3 hours show.

I almost got creamed twice by idiots coming out of side streets WAY too fast.   I slowed down once and went to the center passing lane once.

I'm the getbigger wearing white tie, white vest, and black kangol hat.  Refreshingly ghetto....

And playing a $3000 guitar that cost double what I paid for the vehicle I was driving.  Priorities.   :D

O.Z.

Had to go grab some tacos and run a mile before I felt safe to drive home tonight.

Home safe @ 4am west coast - mission accomplished.  8)

Except all the other shit that scientifically I disagree with you, on that i can't say anything.

Don't drink and drive. It is one of the most idiot ways to die, to lose a leg, a hand or to spend your life in a wheelchair.
or to kill someone or put them into disabilty and then cry "i am so sorry".

I see myself as a modern version of Nino Brown from New jack City, minus the drug dealing and cool sunglasses.

depends on the week.  i miss playing bass :(  I had to go and get good on the 6-string and buy a full PA system... so now I've painted myself into a corner where I can't sneak off guitar anymore.  I get to call the shots, but it's way more work and stress.   On bass, I could be tanked and play a flawless show.  100% perfect most shows.  Owned that shit.   The 6-string guitar is much more complex, so many more factors... and when my rhythm section sucks donkey schlong, ugh...

If drinking and driving is something that is frowned upon why does almost every bar have a parking lot?
