Why were there Hebrews in Laketown???



First they make Heimdall and Nick Fury black and now this??


Peter Jackson sure took liberties with Tolkiens material.

Apparently some non European people complained and Jackson compromised the material.

There were Hebrews and Mooslims in LOTR (the book) but they were all villains, lol.

It's implied they were Asians and Middle Eastern but no nebrews.  They were men from the east.

Those that rode Olyphants in LOTS were Southrons, Men of Haradrim aka Hebrews.

Haradrim, also called in Westron the Southrons, were a race of Men from Harad in the region of Middle-earth directly south of Gondor.

Before that, in the First Age, the Atani from whom the Haradrim descended were known as Black Men, aka Neeguls, Hebrews and Neegars.
