I don't like ECA in the morning. The contrast between feeling groggy and then stimmed out is way too much. I need to gradually work up my ECA dose and only take it when I'm already relatively alert. Contrary to what most people probably do, if I'm really tired I don't like taking a shit ton of stims. It fucks me right up. I'll take half a tablet of caffeine (100mg) and maybe an 8mg ephedrine if I'm not too sleepy.
Best thing is to just get the blood flowing. Wake up, brush your teeth and shower and just do some ab twists and move your arms around and shit. If I'm doing a bout of ECA I try reserving that for later in the day after the post-workout energy subsides. If you shoot your wad all at once you'll just get too burnt out. That's just my opinion. I used to do ECA right upon waking up but I get fucked up for the entire day if I do.
