Actually guys, what we're experiencing is EXACTLY what I was taught in school would occur with global climate change. The summers would feel hotter than ever, the winters colder than ever. Area that normally experience little rain, would see increases and so forth. Essentially, typically traditional weather patterns would be screwed up all over the planet.

Climate change may be a new phenomenon for you guys in the USA, but we've had guys like David Suzuki preaching that gospel up here in Canada since I was a child.

That might be a mixed blessing. Between Corexit in the Gulf and the Atlantic, Fukushima radiation in the Pacific, ...where the heck is someone going to get Seafood anymore?

So scientists today have a different opinion (about anything) than those of 40 years ago? 

In the past 40 years I'm pretty sure that the scientific consensus about many subjects has changed/evolved as our understanding of the of our world has grown. 

Scientists don't have all the answers but they certainly have more accurate ones today than they did 40 years ago.

Anyway, I have a question for the right-wing climate change deniers on this thread: 

How's the weather in the Southern Hemisphere lately?  (You know, the half of the Earth that's south of the equator.)
