I thought he leg checked him. Kid looked drunk so he probably didn't feel it yet. Certainly changed his direction in a fraction of a second. Cantore's right hand looked cocked to deliver a blow if needed. He issued a blow, changed his position to face down the threat AND regain his balance from the momentum shift, and continued talking without really moving his body all that much.
Very graceful. Makes sense that he'd prepare for it.
