Just wanted to say hello to everyone. Just signed up. Currently serving in IRAQ (again) out of Fort Lewis, Washington. Just wanted to say hello to all, and awesome sight. I think I have found a home.

Wish I could bro. Trying to find some. I think there is some gear here. The contractors seem to be gaining more than others lol. Iraq sucks. But what can ya do. This is the life I have chosen to live. For now. Hitting it hard, eating 6-8 times a day trying to keep the carns down and the protein high. lol

Thanks for all messages guys. I will never need another lifting site now. 2ID, not in the Rangers. But all is well here. Love the site. Man there is not enough time to read the whole sight, but damn I am trying. Lots of good info and knowledgable people here. Hope I can learn more!! Any questions of me feel free to PM me.

Yeah, I eat about 6 - 8 times a day. I take protein shakes. Take grilled chicken breasts in to go trays back to my room. So I can eat every two to three hours or so. I lift 5 days a weeks. And try to do cardio about times a week for 30 days. Thanks or all the support guys. Glad to be serving.

Sounds nice to me, bro. When I was deployed to Bosnia we didn't have time to even make it to the chowhall every 3 hours, always working, doing PT or at the gym. It's a wonder I ever made gains at all considering my nutrition.

Remember, bro........even when it gets tough over there, just remember you can push yourself one extra gear, surpass the pain and strain. Your body is stronger than your mind wants to believe.......it's all about how bad you want it. How bad you are willing to go through that extra grind.

That's what makes deployments so fun......

Wehn were you in Bosnia? I was deployed there before, and my training partner was deployed there out of Germany. I was there with the Third Armored Cavalry Regiment. Cool to hear you have stomped the same mud, and froze in the same place as me.

I was deployed to Bosnia back in '97/98' with the 2nd Armored Division out of Hanau, Germany .

That mud was a nightmare, it never came off. I liked Bosnia, though, some of the women were gorgeous. Too bad I was so young or I would have found a way to have a couple on the side like some of the other guys did. There was alot of drama back then, bro.

Had this female MP who was married who was constantly trying to get me to cheat with her and it was TEMPTING. Never did it, but damn, even then I learned how women were evil creatures......

I loved the gym we had there, it was large. When I wasn't working, or doing PT, I was always there......

Tuzla Main and Tuzla West.......

I was at both places during that time.

That mud haunts my soul, bro.......

So many mornings of shining my boots with that mud ingrained to the soles.

That PX on Tuzla West...........had a pale bosnian chick growl at me, like she wanted to fu.ck right there on the floor. Never forgot that shit. Insane things that happen when you are young. I loved my time in Bosnia.

For a kid, it's living the dream.
