How much can you incline on the hammer strength?

Just curious.

I'm at 4 plates a side for reps.  8)

Not bad for a beginner.

I got a question for you guys. Do you get a guy to start the movement for you or do you press it out  by yourself? It makes a big difference. Most guys have no strength to start the press in that machine and need a guy to give them an assist to start.

I did 4  45lbs plates a side for couple of reps by myself at 180lbs. If I tried four plates a side with a barbell my arms would break off or the bar would sit on my chest not moving.

it's the only exercise i do for chest on some workouts.  other workouts i do that and pec deck.  i think the most i've done is 3 plates and a 25 a side (at 170lbs body weight or so) but i prefer to just use 2 and do slow reps.
