Alabama Shakes played at a festival here in Calgary last year. Prior to them coming on stage Brittany Howard (the lead singer) and the Bass player were arguing over something very loudly, and I thought for sure it would come to blows. It was that heated. When they came on stage, it was like nothing ever happened and they played a good set. She has a great voice. Reminded me of Janice Joplin.
