If I had it my way I would do a total makeover and get tons of legit sponsorship money poured into GB from all different angles with a little bit of outside the box thinking.

Ron is already thinking outside the box. He's the only person remaining on the planet, far as I can tell, who is content to run something for its own sake and not because it makes money.
You can't find a website anymore that isn't lousy with commercials. Message boards - forget about it. They run ads so heavily that they struggle to load themselves. Then they tell you "That's what keeps this place running so thanks to our advertisers." It's also what keeps the place from being any good so fuck you and your advertisers. I'm going to Getbig where you say what you want and there isn't some garish ad taking up 1/4 of the screen.
Not to put too fine a point on it but you would have been permabanned long ago anywhere else. This is obvious to everyone. Don't presume to give Ron advice on how to run his site. Just be grateful that he does.
