I come to this board, and while it is not how my everyday interactions with people generally go, it is the only board I post on, so my version of "the rest of the world" may be a bit skewed. That said, I see in my Facebook feeds (outed) and even on here to a larger extent, the ideas that people have on the pending collapse of government, failing of the economy, and revolution etc. That said, does this, even if not the case, just become a self fulfilling prophecy in the end, once it gathers enough steam by the idiots, which are a majority of the population? IT's similar to the scene in "Old School" where Will Ferrell goes streaking and thinks everyone is behind him. Well, he looks silly. But, had he enough followers, it wouldn't have looked so silly, because it would have been the norm. That said, what if these folks get enough people rallied up believing this shit, and it sparks some sort of revolution, does it then just become a self fulfilling prophecy? Kind of like talking yourself into something, it becomes true? I hope not, because for me at least, things are going pretty well, but I'd hate for the collective consciousness of the world population to get swirling, and throw things off, much like the revolutions of the mid 1800's. Any of you CTer's (Wiggs) want to chime in on this?
