Not true. There are loads of fatties kicking about in Europe and in the military too. I was on exercise with Danes, Germans, Dutch and French recently and there were some proper fat cunts there.

However, there was not as many as I saw within the US army in afghan. Watching them do PT was funny as fuck.

I do not agree with you about "loads of fatties in europe". Some countries may have more, like Great Britain maybe but certainly not the cities I visited lately, those tubbies are pretty scarce. Just look at the size of that dude man.

As for obese people the military.. I suppose I don't really know about Europe, but not in Sweden at least.

My view may be skewed, due to being in the UK. I have seen very fat people in parts of mainland Europe... France and Germany, in particular.

I was honestly surprised to see proper fatties in the Danish army (not American army fat, but probably classed as obese), as the majority of them looked like some kind of super race.

Unfortunately the super race is gone, there are still glimpses of it, but the majority of scandinavian men are as good as castrated cattle.

When I was in army, the fat guys were the "field cooks" and truck drivers. Even fat guy can drive a truck and if it gets hit, it's blown away anyways so no need to be fit.

 Those fat US Army guys have to be National Guard or the reserve. I have never seen active duty so out of shape. If that is true we are in big trouble.

That's what I was thinking..most likely reserve. Active tends to weed them out in boot. Putting them on carb and sugar restriction. Just meat and veggies with TONS of attention during PT. Anyone who's been active knows you don't want extra attention from the DS's. There is even talks about nutrition and extra time added to boot because of the shortage of recruits that can pass just the basic physical exams. ESPECIALLY if well qualified. College educated or high scoring ASVAB / GT

But it is a growing problem even with spouses. Its starting to weigh heavily (giggle) on the medical system. Now they are a more sensitive military that have nutritionist and other avenues to help get back into spec

Lately, I have been buying Pmags and C-Products steel body mags and have really be loving them. They are only a couple bucks more and are much more reliable.

ive gone almost completely steel body...when pmags stay loaded too long the throats start to crack...so while i still like pmags for the ocassional 3 gun match...all my duty/contract mags are steel
