Badass answer right there.

On the moon, I can bench 1500 pounds.

Looks like we have another challenge 240.  Go to the moon and bench it (1 rep, NOT 10x150, etc) , with videotape, or you're full of shit.

If you prove yourself right, I will change my avatar for a month.

He's lifting in a shitty apt gym so I'm guessing buying $1,000+ worth of equipment probably isn't on the table.

But I agree with the gist of the purchase for an apt.  I'd also add the GoRuck 80lb sandbag, bands, or a TRX.

My rent is in excess of 2500/mo., but no, I am not going to invest 1000 dollars in this.
The bands seem like a practical fix. Putting a 45 pound plate on the stack is too much - as I already get looks from people as though I've turned the building into Branch Warren's den.
Pretty funny because my physique is not all that impressive - certainly not Groink's level.

Ronnie used to hang a 45lb plate on the lat pulldown stack using the pin.

Clever, the one at my gym has a 6'' to 8'' bar coming off both sides of the top for plates in addition to the stack.
