The Story of Umm Qirfa
« on: April 24, 2014, 06:12:00 AM »
Umm Qirfa was an old Arab woman contemporaneous to Muhammad, the prophet of Islam. She belonged to a pagan tribe named Banu Fazara. This old woman who was also a chief of her clan was brutally killed when Muhammad and his followers raided her tribe and overpowered them.

Mohammed sent Zayd to raid the tribe. Zyad orderered the killing of Umm Qirfa, and he killed her cruelly. He tied each of her legs with a rope and tied the ropes to two camels, and they split her in two.

A Muslim warrior named Salama took the beautiful daughter of Umm Qirfa as a captive. When Muhammad saw her, he asked Salama to give the girl to Muhammad's uncle Hazan. Hazan then "married" her and she gave birth to a son.

Umm Qirfa's story is very well documented in history books, Muslims try and water down the version, but so far they have not denied that the old woman head of the tribe was executed brutally by tying each leg to a camel and driven apart. And her daughter who was reportedly a beautiful woman bore the child of Mohammed's uncle as she was taken in as an asset. The latter was a common practice, where the tribes invaded and overcome, the women become (sex) slaves.

This is no different to what the Vikings did...etc. Common practice back in the days especially as Arabs were originally Pagans, however, the difference is, Vikings did not pretend to spread a message of peace.
