Oh I know....its to much to ask that people show proper ID.  ::)

"We don't know how widespread this problem is because elections offices don't keep track of where non-citizens live," Pierrotti reports, "So we decided to do something that they'd never tried to do before: We found them on our own." The investigation began by examining state forms on which residents had declined jury duty by checking a box indicating that they weren't US citizens, and were therefore ineligible to serve. Pierrotti then cross-referenced those results with local voter rolls, identifying at least 94 people who were registered to vote in the state of Florida. Next, he visited some of these people at their homes, where they admitted that they weren't citizens and professed ignorance as to how they were registered to vote in the first place. But voting records confirmed that they'd exercised their "right" to vote that, as non-citizens, they do not actually possess. The NBC 2 team interviewed a number of these illegal voters on camera, including a Jamaican national who simply attested that he was a US citizen on a voter registration form, and -- voila! -- he joined the American electorate. It was a felony, but it was that easy. And if a news crew hadn't connected the dots, no one would have ever known. This passage in the report is crucial:

link to any getbiggers saying that?

I support requiring ID to vote, certainly.  But I'd like to see the source of such a claim.

There is no possible reason to oppose voter ID. They have zero arguements, other than their usual Race Card.

Are you serious?

Have you read any response by "straw boy" denying that fraud exists whenever this issue is brought up? Oh sure, he says it's not widespread. I don't care if it's only one person doing it. One vote can be the difference.

Fraud is more prevalent than the leftists want to accept. But, then again, I don't expect them to do anything since having illegal immigrants and dead persons voting benefits them. As long as that is the case, they won't lift a finger to fix the problem and they will continue to demonize the idea of a voter ID.

What a terrible idea!!! For someone to prove they are a citizen before voting. That is such a horrible, nonsensical idea!!!

Yes, dems love it way more than repubs.  But I was referring to 33's quote that "According to the libs on this board - no such thing as voter fraud"

Yes, there is fraud, and yes, repubs take it more seriously not because they think it's stealing elections, but because they know the (D) ticket voters are far less likely to have proper ID than the (R) voters that are usually better at following the rules.

Just another reason why I don't take this clown seriously. He's not a legit sitting president. His whole persona is that of fraud. From where he was born, how he got in to those colleges, how he got where he is now and a major part of that is massive voter fraud. His "presidency" is a farce.

"Massive" voter fraud means what to you, Coach?

Give us some approximate numbers, por favor.

If you won't do that then fergawdsake, up your AI's, mang.  You're exaggerating like a bitch, lately.

I'm sure Obama is very hurt that a blindly-partisan fool doesn't take him seriously. in fact, he's so hurt that he spends his nights curled up, crying... ::)

You claim he's not a "legit sitting President." Please explain why - but do so with serious arguments, citing actual sources and objective facts and without referencing theories that have already been thoroughly debunked; do so with evidence and not based on your feelings; do so using facts, not unsubstantiated rumors and conspiracy theories that contradict actual evidence.

And if you can't do that then shut the fuck up about this, because nobody wants to hear your delusional rants.

This isn't a defense of Obama. I disagree with his politics and his policies and I'll go even beyond that: I find him to be a very bad President. I wish he had not been re-elected. But he was. All sensible conservatives can do now (given the largely useless Senators and Congressmen we have) is to see how we can go about electing sensible candidates when the next elections come around.

And you and your delusional ilk are actively sabotaging that effort. Instead of talking about substance, you're stuck talking about busted birther theories and all sorts of irrelevant topics because you have the intellectual capacity of a peanut and can't form a cogent argument yourself.

I'm all for asking for proof of citizenship when someone signs up to vote and for proof of identification at the time of the vote. I see nothing wrong with that.

I'll do you one better: I'm all for requiring people to be registered three months before the election in order to be able to vote - no more signing up at the site or a day before the elections.

I'm also in support for taking people who try to vote when they aren't eligible to Court. The same for people who knowingly help such people vote.

i support all of that - BUT i'd like to see 3-4 day "window" to vote.  Cause there were lines that were 6-7 hours long in Lee county, the same place they found voter fraud.

IMO, if there is illegal voting AND people are waiting 6+ hours in the heat and rain to vote... maybe 1 day isn't enough.  You have 12 booth in each polling station, and elderly voters will take 15 minutes or longer voting.  They can't see, or they take forever on each choice, checking their notebook then reviewing everything.

Let people vote thursday thru sunday, for example.
