Tea Party Groups Organizing 'National Impeach Obama Week'

It's not going away, just because RINOs told them to.  The people want this.  hard to blame libs for impeachment talk when the tea party is taking the charge on this. 


Now that the House has approved a lawsuit against President Obama and impeachment cries have increased, a few conservative groups have put together "National Impeach Obama Week."

The groups are organizing protests during the week of August 23 to call for Obama's impeachment, according to a blog post by activist Robert Ogden on the conservative blogging site, Western Journalism.

"Gerald Ford said after the Nixon was forced to resign under threat of impeachment that an 'impeachable offense' is whatever the Congress will vote for at a given time. We are not here to argue about what is impeachable, but to demand that this lawless, subversive and anti-American president be removed from office," the organizers wrote on the Impeach Obama Week website.

Repubs on the far right LOVE WND and Erik Rush.   And Erik Rush makes a great point here.  One that I've been saying for months.  If some dems will turn on Clinton for lying about a hummer, many more will turn on him for much more serious offenses.

Half a million emails and letters - and they sure ain't from "libs".   Guys, this is real.  It's not a lib creation.  REMEMBER - the same clowns (rush, hannity, priebus) that told you in 2012 to accept amnesty - are now telling you impeachment is something only liberals want.   The PEOPLE don't want amnesty and they DO what impeachment.

so where does everyone stand on this.

Are repubs STILL saying NO to impeachment because it might give them a few more seats in 2014, by the theories of those whose wisdom led to epic losses the last few go-arounds?  I mean, Reince Priebus did such a spectacular job on the 2012 races and the Amnesty debacle, let's trust him on the no-impeach too, right?

Now that so many tea party groups are STANDING UP to Rush and Hannity and Priebus and saying YES, let's talk about IMPEACHMENT on Obama - Are ANY of you bold enough to embrace the idea now too?   Or do you stick with the recent RINO belief on it, that it's accepable to give obama 30 more months of exec order power in exchange for a few seats? 

I'm shocked there haven't been any responses.  Soul Crusher, you still feel the same?  Coach?  Come on fellahs, stop waiting to choose a side.  Rush says no, tea party says YES.  Polls say YES.  It's okay to have the courage to defy what you parroted from Rush last week.  It's OKAY to say "Obama can wreck america in the next 30 months with exec orders... and a few seats can't stop that".

We've already established, very clearly, that the repubs have been talking impeachment since 2010, in politics and on getbig, and that this story of "oh, the libs are the only ones that are talking about it" was an obvious lie.

What we're talking about now, is "are the people who were for impeachment, then against it for the last week, going to move back to supporting impeachment"?

this is true - HOWEVER this doesn't create a need for repubs to suddenly REJECT the impeachment idea.  Yes, the dems raised $ for a week on it... but so did "YOU LIE" Joe Wilson and a million other folks who get on the radar for a day or two.  Does anyone really think the dems would KEEP getting a million a day in donations once we see obama's crimes like F&F?

Many Repubs REVERSED how they felt about impeachment based upon Rush telling them it was okay to trade justice for seats - that giving obama 30 more months of executive order power was somehow worth a few seats. 

Seeing as SO MANY in the Tea Party - as well as the population - disagree with Rush on this... I'm hoping this gives Repubs the courage to "pretend last week didn't happen" and return to their pro-impeachment positions.  I think coach and soul crusher - longtime impeachment supporters - may have jumped to the anti position rather rashly.  I think they didn't consider the tradeoff of justice vs politics is a bit like the Ben Franklin freedom for liberty tradeoff.

so i'm welcoming them back to the impeachment bandwagon they rode on for so long... and suddenly abandoned last week because the deaf fat guy told them to.
