What I wrote:I sometimes wonder what the world will be like in 20 years. What I got in return:The Archive has been opened, and there is no way to close it. You have now been warned, and because of it, you can no longer shield your eyes from the truth. They are coming, for you, for us, for everyone. They will arrive under a banner of friendship, they will integrate themselves into our society, into our government, into our cultures. Once cemented, they will begin to harvest. The homeless guy you give a quarter to every day will no longer be on the corner on your way to work. There will be a slight increase in missing persons reports. Your boss will not be at his desk.Your neighbors will go on vacation and never return. And as their grass grows up to the window sills, your cat will hiss and spit, your dog will growl and bark. As the sun sets, you will swear you see eyes peaking at you.You will hear a knock at the door, slow. It will wake you from an uneasy sleep. You will ask "who is it?" The answer will be an indecipherable whisper, slow, shuddering. Your gut will tell you to go back to bed, and you will watch in horror, as your hands unlock and open the door...
