I got approached by a woman (that I've known for years) with an "amazing business opportunity".
Ambit is a company that supposedly sells electricity cheaper that standard power companies. (Until they sign you up & increase your rates unexpectedly)
Fucking pyramid scheme. Her offer: I pay a one time fee of $429.00, join the Ambit team, and sell Ambit under her. I also would have to convince other people to buy/sell Ambit. She showed me 4 videos on her iPad.
I declined (and she looked like she was going to cry).
Beware! I read online that it is a total scam
