I used inj lasix before the 98 USA. I went from 175lbs to 166lbs and flat as shit! Couldnt get a pump or fill out for shit! I have never pissed so much while i was cuttinig my water back! No clue where it came from. I literally pissed 3-4 times an HOUR

Nope, just 1 tab lasix the night before the show, he never needed the steroids, stimulants, peptides, insulin, GH or thyroid hormones that these lame BBs use today, 1 tab of lasix to dry out and he was good.

Bb was so much better back then, before the drug abuse, bacl wjen yoi could come in at 250lbs ripped on god given genetics and hard work.

Had he not used that lasix tab, hed still be alive, and hell, he didnt even need it with his genetics, he still could have won.

Even if he could set any world record it is highly unlikely he will be able to repeat his training feats in competition after taking lasix. 6 hours is very short amount of time and your bodyweight won't get back this fast. When I was dehydrated and started drinking a lot of water and eating I honestly dropped more weight and pissed like crazy for another few hours. And that was only using clasic water manipulation. Fortunatelly my strength hasn't dropped... But weight loss was around 2-3kgs tops.

I am no powerlifter nor do I ever plan to compete

But isnt it the most effective to diet for the show and then loose the last 5 - 10 pounds of water by lowering waterintake and cycling carbs

Then after weigh in just eat 5-10k calories in carbs and start drinking again

Diuretics seem to be too harsh to enable peak performence only 6 hours after making the weight

Terrible idea. Just terrible. Move up a weight class And have a cheeseburger

Aldactone might be a better choice. Lasix is a "loop"  diaretic and you may deplete too far.  In my experience.

That said perhaps a steam/sauna approach might be better.
