FACTS about nutrition and weightlifting!
« on: October 29, 2014, 03:18:03 AM »
I have been training for over 20 years now! There is alot of bullshit in the game, so now lets sort the FACTS out!

1. High intake of salt and carbs make u watery! Skip intake of salt and carbs for two days and your are probably down 5lbs

2. Deep squats make your ass grow. Straight back when squat stress your quads more. Front Squat even more! Half reps - less ass

3. Wide grips bench is for pectoralis. Close grips bench more shoulders and triceps!

4. Deadlift give your body a solid strong build! Ass hamstring back! Deadlift is great!

5. Real solid home made fresh food make increase your result, more strenght less bodyfat.

6. For strenght go with less effort on your trainingday and train same excersice more frequent.

7. Proteinpowders have never ever made my biceps any bigger. Its just calories! Less or more...body respond up or down

8. Cooked Oatmeal is good shit!

9. Arms. Dont swing it when doing biceps curls. Triceps. Laying down triceps extensions stress your triceps from midle all the way up to armpits. Standing pusch press in cabel work your triceps from midle down to eldbows.

10. U really dont need to go all in, all out every workout! U should never do it actually. See nr 6. Not a singel profesional athlet in any sport do that. Consistansy with a plan is the key

11. To stay lean u must do serious cardio all the time, eat less and healty or go on drugs. Or combine these things however u want. Eat less make u low on energy. So I would recomend hard cardio or drugs. If u do hard cardio u need to sacrifice strenght and maybe your legs. U can do low inensity cardio, but then u need 2-3houers/day to stay fit and it will make you weak aswell. Always do the same type of cardio, muscle body will adapt and optimise. After a while u can increasy intensity without feeling tired = more calories burned. Just like any strenght excercise, the more u do it, the better u become.

12. Genetics play a much greater role for your muscle growth and look than training do. But no matter what, u can always get fitter, stronger, leanner more muscular than if u dont train.

13. How u feel in life play a big role to for your trining result. Your natural levels of test gh etc is up and down...

14. With consistancy u can pretty much come ahead alot of people with better genetics than yours...your lost in the genetic area is your win in dedication, motivation, will and desire or even brain capasity. U will find the paths to get along in the race!

Well, thats for now! Simple rules! : )

for me itīs about working my heart. I donīt buy the idea that you can work your cardio vascular system like you do with running/biking. PHA is maybe very close but even Bob Gadja integrated running in his programme. Still each to his own. Steve (njflex) is like you and stays lean all year round without cardio.
