The Chinese put a man into orbit 11 years ago. Still not near their dreamed of maned moon landing and return. They have all the stolen technology from Russia and the USA...up to date 2014 technology.

Some 50 years ago we went from a monkey in orbit to walking on the moon and returning in what...3 years?. AND with revamped versions of WWll V1 rockets, cathoray tube electronics and duct tape. Hang on... I know there is an answer to this...  i'm Googling, i'll be back.

SpaceX has a multi-billion dollar contract with NASA.  Virgin Galactic is all publicity funded so they have no choice but to find lower cost alternatives
