He was too afraid to go to the ground with him. Plus Hunt looked to be breathing heavy already by the end of the first.

I didn't see it that way. Hunt looked very relaxed and seemed to be pacing himself. Anyway, I like Hunt but Werdum/Cain is a better fight than Hunt/Cain.

Well he was, probably because of the high altitude and plus Hunt's cardio isn't the best. Even at the start of the second you can see Hunt's breathing beginning to labor. Hunt was lucky the pace was slow and Werdum was just pacing himself taking his time looking for an opportunity and just trying to avoid a big punch early. Outside of a couple of hard punches, Hunt looked every bit of 40. I gave the first round to Hunt, not because he dominated but because Werdum didn't do much. Werdum was obviously just trying to avoid a big punch and take the fight into the later rounds were Hunt would be a sitting duck.
