Good find.  Thanks for posting.
So now you have the big boys starting to weigh in on the workout supp game. I wonder how this may change the game for the traditional and smaller supp companies? How will this change the landscape?
If other companies jump in, will that eventually mean that they will be looking for "athletes" to sponsor? Will those athletes be "phyisque" Pros first?

Unless they have severe brand loyalty, they'll be out of business.

Gatorade made an impact when they started protein and recovery drinks.  Rumor has it they bought up so much stock it led to higher prices overall due to scarcity.

Actually, I spent five seconds on Google and found real articles:

Quote
Now there has been a new factor emerge in the whey protein industry.  We were already at a point of under supply and over demand and then stepped in the super mega corporation PEPSICO AKA Pepsi Cola. Pepsi has purchased 500 million pounds of whey protein concentrate from dozens of sources the U.S. and about 17 million pounds of whey protein isolate.  Pepsi actually couldn't get enough whey protein so now they are buying whey protein from China. They are using the whey protein in their new "G" protein drink.

I don't know who's shadier, Pepsi or a small supp company. Both give me reason to believe my 'fitness' and 'nutrition' is not their hearts desire.
