Need help from drug experts! Arcoxia

I was recently given Arcoxia by my doc for a shoulder injury. I have am suffering from a slap lesion that probably will require surgery. My doc did not say much about this drug.

Anyone knows about ARCOXIA? Is it good? Is it purely a painkiller or is it also antiinflammatory? Will it make make performance (such as strength) suffer?

It's a NSAID (Cox-2 Inhibitor) in the same class as Bextra and Celebrex.

It's not that strong and has been linked to an increase in heart attacks and strokes.

I'd just sooner have the surgery and begin rehab.......

That would be better.

my doc gave it to me for wrist pain and it made my shit black and i also got some weird chest pains even thoug i have no medical condition (i get thorougly checked very often) when i stopped it all those thing's wen't away! On top of that it does'nt even help that much!
I woud'nt take that shit now even if got paid for it!
