Get a cheap keyboard.

It's easier to understand scale and keys looking at the keyboard's key configuration.
If you play only the white keys you are playing in a C major Scale. It's a good start point.
Even having great natural talent, you can advance a lot understanding Scales and Chords.

Soar high young Falcon. Take a week or two off from the energy configurations of the universe and read a book about how internal combustion engines work.
