#1 I think Levin is 1000% correct. Completely and totally.
#2) I think many people who have said "if you disobey the police, you deserve to get shot" might be reconsidering that position once it's a national police force designed to maintain power for the democratic party.
I've been saying it for years - People kneepad the police and refuse to hold them in a critical eye - until Dems steal an election, and any repub that steps outside to protest is disobeying an order and fit for arrest, beating, or worse. But it'll be too late to "change positions" on police obedience by then
Because when police are sitting on top of law abiding citizens who are doing nothing more than legally protesting - and suddenly they squirm because they can't breathe - so they get a banned chokehold used on them - and suddenly they're unconscious in handcuffs for 10 minutes while EMTs stand around pretending for the crowd, and they die as a result of the treatment - and it never even makes it into the police report....
Well, let's just say I bet a lot of people will change their positions. The actions of Garner would be any of our actions - squirming - if 5 fat cops are on top of us and it's hard to breathe. We'd squirm more. All that shit about "Hey, quit fighting" - when they're ON TOP of you, and you cannot breath, yes, EVERY ONE of us will squirm for air. Enjoy the chokehold, those of you who thought it was a-okay to use in 2014. Cause it'll be your ass getting choked in November 2016, by Obama's police and you were the ones that wanted the police to have unquestionable power when dealing with "those who dont follow orders".
