who gives a fuck. the dude had his knee snapped benzos work as a muscle relaxer and a anti-anxiety med, maybe the guy has insomnia. I'll tell you for sure taking benzos will not help your performance. Plus I think he failed for valium because no reason to take those 2 benzos. I failed for 4 benzos and it all was metabolite breakdown from valium. the valium clears quick but you test for other weird benzos like these that have like 10 day detection times..

The point is that he can't be taking substances that are banned by the NAC a few days before a fight.... He knew that he is gonna be tested. And even if he didn't test positive for the benzo's, he still tested positive for steroids in this same test (his 2nd positive test in less than a month).

fuck man there are millions of dollars on the line. Honestly I thin all of the big names are on some kind of PED or rec drug. I don;t think it's right but that's the way sports work. In combat sports it shouldn;t of been allowed! they knew silva was dirt and still let him fight if he would of killed the guy that would be a major lawsuit.

Those drugs are definitely are used for calming the mind; but I think that those drugs are considered narcotics and are illegal to posses without a prescription.

No arguments on the whole issue of legality. Forgive me for not knowing but Silva doesn't have a prescription? That would be so ignorant on his part with his training team and doctors he was at his disposal. A prescription for a benzo would be a phone call away for guy like him. Well, I guess there wouldn't be a report unless they were illegally in his system right? Calm the mind? I guess. Unless you really need them, I think they would make you tired. If anything I would think there would be failed tests everywhere for adderal. Take thst before a fight and you would be a fucking machine

Last thing I would want to do after popping some xanax or any benzo is climb into a cage and fight to the death. For a guy like Anderson Silva he can get any drug he wants! benzos,painkillers, steroids but not masteron that is a UGL drug so he turned to the black market. he would probably hold tooo much water on Test cyp and deca would be in his system for months. I don;t train fighters but I would keep my fighters away from painkillers and benzos unless they really had some anxiety issues or severe Insomnia.
