I'm not so sure about about the weak era argument with Dexter. Is it helping him continue his reign? Yes. But he still had a very solid record in the early 2000's when there was still some very strong competition -

Dexter is a 90s product. So is Toney Freeman. Even though Toney got his pro card in the 2000s. Toney had been trying for years in the 90s.
And guess what? Those two don't have "guts" (yes there are pics of Dex having some "over hang"). If you look at the guys who got their pro cards in the mid late 90s---Jay, DJ, Melvin Anthony, Dex, they all had a certain quality of muscle to them. Something Compton and company will never have.

Ronnie doesn't give up holding size,it's easier for a dex type to stay lean/big for there frame cause they max out and stay on there usual cycles, guys like jay who get so big and bigger as time goes on harder to stay that big getting older and trying to run crazy cycles.

definitely one of the best ever...without question.....and yes he competed in the toughest era which as the 1990's to early 2000's.....and he keeps winning even today due to the guys of today not having the muscle maturity that Dexter has..also due to having the distended bellies as well

I have a great respect for him as a bodybuilder, and he became a nice person as well.
