I don't understand supplements anymore. It's expensive snake oil. A lot of the materials used is sourced from China. Who knows what crap is in it.  Just pricing the cost of a tub of whey isolate is enough for me to go buy some tbones, cans of tuna, chicken and skim milk. Scrabble up 4 eggs and put some chocolate syrup in skim milk and you have some protein that is not only quality but it tastes good too. If you want to exceed the vitamins they claim they add to whey powder just buy the cheapest brand of vitamins you can find in the supermarket that has the USP symbol.

Just remember supplements are not regulated. The amounts of protein on the label isn't checked. Consumer Reports once analyzed several brands of whey protein and they found contamination from arsenic and from some heavy metals like cadmium. I heard one guy involved in the supplement business and he said many brands sourced their whey protein from the same source supplier then in their advertisements they claimed theirs was superior. How can it be superior? It is the same stuff in another container with different flavoring and added vitamins.
