Of all people in the gym I have seen in my 22 years, clean powerlifters who do the same shit year out year in, stuck with the basic movements deadlift, deep squats, benchpress, low reps, every week, year out year in....is the men who get the most dense solid and strongest bodies.

All those fags changing excersises reps and shit just come and go all the time...and look like shit!

The muscles never get used, the try to optimize the process of lifting and it take years and years before the muscles are ready...

Just saying!

Of course, if you're used to doing 8-12 reps, then do 40 reps...you'll have more lactic acid build up and feel more of a burn...no shit.  This doesn't mean you're benefiting more from it though, but targeting slower twitch fibers.

it takes at least 6 weeks for the body to respond with muscular growth to a rep pattern. The more of a radical change than you are used to- the longer it takes.

throwing in "shock" or "confusion" sets is a complete waste of neural energy.

the sports science community knew this 2 decades ago. ..longer..

i wonder how many 100 sprinters throw in a shock 800m in their sessions?..

I was pretty shocked about the need to shock my muscles into growth - even greater was the shock when I discovered that after all the trauma drama I was still a tiny tit.

At least I can still enter my house through the pet door - convenience vs mass... the eternal dilemma.

You don't have to prove your ignorance about the sport to me, it is so obvious already. It is just stupid to use your own gains to prove anything, because it is non existing. In fact there is likely so wide range inconsistency in your training, that you simply can't tell what causes what, so buzz of, moron. If just about all competing bodybuilders use that technique as a part of their training, it is little bit hard to me to believe that you are right and they all are wrong. Why? Because they are on stage, and you are at the front of your keyboard 24/7  ;D

Yes, guys that lift the heaviest weights are often big, but I've seen these same guys doing the same workouts for years and their bodies NEVER change. 

Something must change, or the body does not change.

X100000 If you're natural you usually have to go heavy, not overly heavy but heavy enough to where your body has to do actual work. The Progressive overload method works the best.
