I bet people who bash strangers on the internet are beta as shit in real life. I did get a lot of PM's thereafter from people apologizing though because they believed I was male. They are irate because I am a young professional woman. Meanwhile they live off of foodstamps in their mother's basements. 
the types you mention probably infest all types of forums... But pretty much everyone "gets it" when new here, especially a woman, worse even...
Many of us do have good info to share, just needs the right thread or whatnot for it to shine.
