lol! ( sounds good tho!)

Did you know that Arnold wanted Blackie to play the role of the T1000 in Terminator 2. When Arnold found out Blackie was 6'4 he changed his mind. He didn't want the villian to be bigger than him

James Cameron had originally picked Billy Idol but Billy broke his leg in a motorcycle accident.

Reunion is all of them, otherwise it's not a reunion.

What year did Axl lose his voice?

I hear people bashing their performances but how good were their concerts when Appetite for Destruction first came out and it was the original band in their youth?

Sometime between '93 and '01, it would seem.

I don't know what's worse, Axl's "hair" or his voice

that's fascinating.  Still, I'd rather see 2015 Fat Axl GNR version, than some new "rock" band like Brekaing Benjamin playing boring filler rock for 110 minutes.

It'd take a lot to get me to really go see any band.  I see pro athletes and actors, musicians a lot in naples playing resorts and events... they're more annoying than anything else.  Out of my way, I'm on break and have to pee, your 'entourage' to the urinals moves too slow.

I have been in proper singing training for a few years and what Axl did in his prime was phenomenal and would grind the shit out of my vocal cords in minutes.

I did get the karaoke track for November Rain but I haven't had the guts to have people in my house hear me ruin that for them :)

His versions aren't that bad in that vid.  01 he sang it clean without much distortion and seems to have gone back to that in 2014 and the fact is, if you don't distort high vocals, it can sound pretty rubbish - particularly when everybody is used to hearing that dirtier tone.  I thought he had lost it in 01, but that was a stylistic choice, it seems - because he sounded back to normal in 06.

I saw them open for Deep Purple and Aerosmith and they were the best band on the stage that night.
part of the footage from that show ended up in the Paradise City video.

....but now, meh.

Oh shits - I was at that same show....Giants stadium......I remember the hot dog cart getting passed from the back of the stadium all the way to the front and dumped over the front.

it's funny seeing how they intro'd more backup singers along each step of the way.  By the late 2010s, the chorus is a 3 or 4 part harmony.

That's almost 25 years of screeching some seriously hard vocal parts.  In his prime, Axl was one of the best overall singers/entertainers we'll ever see.  he sang all that while running around like a madman the entire show.

I did care!
(But after seeing that video of him butchering those classic G&R songs .... Now I don't) * side note the new "Stryper and W.A.S.P" are some of their heaviest and best songs in years!

Received the new Stryper in the mail. First listen last night. Good stuff.

Interesting vid....AR was definitely going downhill from about '93, but he still was a good singer until the past few years maybe....
