Black Africans sold Black Hebrews. Fact!  Same color different ethnicity.  The       menace must be stopped!

What?!  Was there a sale on "Stoopid" today at the local Wee-Bee-Food?

Upon further reflection, you should just keep on keepin' on.  I mean, Genova must surely read your drivel and feel "normal" for having done so.

Dammit!  Now I'm going to Hades.  Again.

OR...she's a professor and all...which means that she has been recognised as knowing a great body of knowledge and also contributing to a peer reviewed discovery in her area...maybe she is right (?)

i mean, what would a bunch of non professors know?..let alone a bunch of GB board members who's use of science doesnt go far beyond protein powders and counting to 10...many not going past 6.

Maybe she is right. Maybe white males are the biggest problem facing college campuses,  just because she has a doctorate doesn't mean she can't be wrong or her opinion isn't biased.

All I read, as I'm assuming you did as well,  was the article. She didn't back up her statement with facts or evidence.

Im sure many racists have gotten PhD's throughout history,  that doesn't make them infallible and always correct with their opinions.

It would be interesting if a white professor said the same thing about any non white ethnic group,  and his defense was his education determines that he's much more knowledgeable about the issue then everyone else.

White males is the biggest problem for blacks, without white people they would have sucessfully made usa to violent jungle.

She apparently has degrees in Sociology and African American Studies. 2 degrees that are completely useless outside of a university teaching job, or perhaps something else paying a taxpayer-funded modest monthly wage in the current bloated government we have.

If she had degrees in engineering, science, math, or something business-related, I might give anything she says in general some consideration. As far as this actual subject is concerned, I'd give her credibility if she was a crim justice / criminology professor who had past experience as a cop, corrections officer, criminal lawyer, parole officer, or similar professions dealing with the scum that actually commit the vast majority of crimes in the US. Hint - it ain't white male college students.

The feminist sociologist of race and ethnicity is an incoming assistant professor of sociology and African-American studies at Boston University

Assistant professor: An introductory level professor. A position generally taken after receiving a PhD and often, especially in the sciences, completing a post-doctoral fellowship. After 7 years, in most American colleges and universities, a tenure-track faculty member (usually assistant professor) must be either awarded tenure, or dismissed from the university.

Saida is going to find out assistant professors have no job security.

Some of her tweets:

for the record, NO race outside of europeans had a system that made slavery a *personhood* instead of temporary condition

there is also no race except europeans who kidnapped and transported human beings in order to enslave them and their offspring for life

before europeans invented it as such, slavery was not a condition that was defacto inherited from parent to child.

in other words, deal with your white sh*t, white people. slavery is a *YALL* thing. …

“dear white people: you are all Ben Affleck. Those euphemisms for ur ancestors like ‘pioneers’ and ‘farmers’ means owned humans and killed natives.”

If I was a student in her class, for any crap mark I would lodge a complaint stating racism and sexism.

See how the uni would deal with it.

Interesting that she claims slavery as "heredity" condition, being born into slavery, as being invented by Europeans.  They certainly established it as a norm but it's not fair to say they invented the practice.

Odd that she would stereotype all white people as slave owners.

I wonder if it was a tweet in response to the Baltimore riots......

I'm OK with what she said as long as she is allowing this to be a two way conversation, that being a white perspective on black culture. Although I'm sure the amount of nonsense in that type of situation would be intolerable.

*Her point is as relevant as someone today going on a rant of how horrible the British monarchy was and they still never rectified how they treated the settlers of the new land,  and England needs to deal with those realities. Lol

Jerry Hough's Full Comments in the New York Times

This editorial is what is wrong. The Democrats are an alliance of Westchester and Harlem, of Montgomery County and intercity Baltimore. Westchester and Montgomery get a Citigroup asset stimulus policy that triples the market. The blacks get a decline in wages after inflation.

But the blacks get symbolic recognition in an utterly incompetent mayor who handled this so badly from beginning to end that her resignation would be demanded if she were white. The blacks get awful editorials like this that tell them to feel sorry for themselves.

In 1965 the Asians were discriminated against as least as badly as blacks. That was reflected in the word "colored." The racism against what even Eleanor Roosevelt called the yellow races was at least as bad.

So where are the editorials that say racism doomed the Asian-Americans. They didn't feel sorry for themselves, but worked doubly hard.

I am a professor at Duke University. Every Asian student has a very simple old American first name that symbolizes their desire for integration. Virtually every black has a strange new name that symbolizes their lack of desire for integration. The amount of Asian-white dating is enormous and so surely will be the intermarriage. Black-white dating is almost non-existent because of the ostracism by blacks of anyone who dates a white.

It was appropriate that a Chinese design won the competition for the Martin Luther King state. King helped them overcome. The blacks followed Malcolm X.

Quote from Jerry Hough

"I am strongly against the obsession with "sensitivity." The more we have emphasized sensitivity in recent years, the worse race relations have become. I think that is not an accident. I know that the 60 years since the Montgomery bus boycott is a long time, and things must be changed. The Japanese and other Asians did not obsess with the concentration camps and the fact they were linked with blacks as "colored." They pushed ahead and achieved. Coach K did not obsess with all the Polish jokes about Polish stupidity. He pushed ahead and achieved. And by his achievement and visibility, he has played a huge role in destroying stereotypes about Poles. Many blacks have done that too, but no one says they have done as well on the average as the Asians. In my opinion, the time has come to stop talking incessantly about race relations in general terms as the President and activists have advocated, but talk about how the Asians and Poles got ahead--and to copy their approach. I don't see why that is insensitive or racist."

This dude is a tad out of touch. He does have great points.
But, he is backwards. Black people have traditionally followed the MLK model, ie being a victim and having the government intervene. Malcolm X was ahead of his time. At one point in his life he was just like these young folk, as many would call them, thugs. He was in prison, he became enlightened. Sure, he was the mouthpiece for the Nation of Islam, but then he broke away. Advocated the "do it for yourself".
His "The Ballot Or The Bullet" speech is prophetic and to me, far more resounding than MLK's "I Have a Dream".

The professor should realize that many older folks say that intergration is what killed a lot of black businesses, services, and community. Black people rejoice in wanting to be accepted.
Also, black/white dating in America is pushed far more than white/Asian. Now, maybe he is talking about Duke's campus...

"Why did I quit college?" asks Fielding Mellish.
"I could have been something today."
"What would you have been if you finished school?" asks his girlfriend.
"I don't know," Mellish answers.
"I was in a Black Studies program. By now I could have been black."

Hearing about race every other day in the media is very old.  Don't people realize that they encourage more racism than anything in society?  People aren't smart enough to see it though.  It's about ratings and creating divide.
Most form their opinions on other races based on the media.
Its an American thing...
Some countries its religion based, other countries it is region based
Same story, same goal and the same result
