Don't sweat it. Perhaps his wife/girlfriend or whomever was seduced by a player?. It's been know to elicit this type of reaction. A part of any successful PUA's toolkit is dealing with the disgruntled ex.
^^^Classic beta behavior. An Alpha walks in the room and he senses the threat to his already diminished position. He will make nasty remarks as he observes the Alpha dominate the room and tell the story.
Simmer down, Chief. Pay attention. You just might learn something.
