No.  How those calories react in the body makes that theory false.  2000 calories with mostly refined sugars vs. 2000 calories with virtually no refined sugar will make a dramatic difference on blood sugar levels, fat storage, metabolism, blood pressure, etc...A calorie is not a calorie.

Interesting. This flies in the face of the study done where 43% of the diet was table sugar and the other group was at 4%. No difference in anything.

oh god, i got brain washed a year ago or so by that first video. not going to say he doesnt know what he is talking about, but i will say this...

as soon as i adopted a calorie controlled diet of "Normal", non bodybuilding bro food, I....

-broke the viscous cycle of being controlled by "Bbing" lifestyle ( oh i cringe at the good times i never had because i was such a stickler douche)
-look the fucking same as i did on keto, clean foods only, etc insert bro diet here
-mental clarity
-enjoy my life now, eat reasonable meals and now have a some what thriving social life
-my wife doesnt hate me anymore for all the ridiculous bro science myths i was following
-i now enjoy beer, wine, cookies, etc.
-...again, and i look exactly the same as i did when i was "bro'd out" in the gym and kitchen six days a week

a calorie is a calorie is mostly true. eat healthy, have some shit food, enjoy life.
want to lose fat? eat healthy, have some shit food (just less of it, count those cals) and enjoy life

Keto helps us fast lose way quicker than just lowering cals and your body burns fat as preferred source in keto so it's a good start if you're starting fat

A half gallon of Blue Bell Ice Cream has 2660 kcals.

My TDEE is around 2900 (Harris Benedict).

Therefore, I could eat an entire half gallon of Blue Bell Ice Cream everyday and lose weight. Nice.  8)
