Not true at all, I love my children more than anything or anyone.  That's not to say I don't love my wife cause I do very much but my children are second to none and it's by a wide margin.

If the house was burning and I could either save my wife or my child I would save my child.  My rationalization being that while my wife is only 35 she has lived and experienced a great deal where my child hasn't and deserves the chance to.  I also believe my wife would want me to save the child.

Either way it would be a brutal decision to make and would fuck me up for the rest of my life.
