I think the majority of the British public don't 'get' Fury, and what he does with all the trash talking. In the same way, a lot of posters on here don't understand other posters, taking them seriously when they are only building a funny persona and so on.I started watching Fury from his first bout with McDermott, and once I had watched plenty of his other shit talking/training vids and interviews, I 'got' him, and instantly was a fan.Once you get his angle, its entertaining as fuck! Great for the sport.I don't understand how anyone can really hate the bloke, he doesn't even take himself seriously enough for that.
Hardly a surprise.
What do you mean Jeff?
Hes a lot like you.
Fury's hilarious....half the time it's unintended too. Like when he tweeted he was gonna steal David Prices soul and give it to the devil, except he spelt it "sole". Or when he starts singing in the ring.British public love a humble "loser". Eubank didn't get the support until he was on the slide, and they got to see how much heart he really had. Same with Bruno, he was loved because he kept trying, and wasn't outspoken. It can be a double edged sword here when you get a guy who's outspoken and has been backing it up too. It sells tickets but people will look to jump on you for everything. Most don't realise just how much your personality changes pre fight either. When guys have been making weight, and training their ass off for months to fight, they're highly strung and on edge. Put them in front of each other with camera's and a bunch of questions being sent their way...it's inevitable that it will kick off occasionally or end in a big rant. I'm gonna have to be rooting for Wlad this fight though as he's a class act and i wouldn't like to see him go out on a loss. Fury can win a lot of fan's by putting in a big effort. He's skilled enough to impress for a few rounds and he's young enough to learn a lot from it and come back.
Joshua has been sparked by Cruisers in sparring, noticed how he never fights aggressive come forwardfighters? Why is that then? Because he struggles terribly with them. Id pick a prime Tyson or Frazieror Foreman Dempsey Marciano, even Tua and Ike to have him out of there in 90 seconds. FRAUD
You keep saying this but I've never heard a peep about it... Unless it a story from him being a green amature I'm calling bullshit, for some reason you just don't like him? He's the future heavyweight champ , British with a getbig approved physique.....
I like Justin Bieber, hes a seriously underrated artist and doesnt get the recognition he deserves.
Fair enough. The guy can sing and play multiple instruments.
The beeb should get an account on here. He's be a legendary shit stirrer lol.
I heard Bieber plays a pretty mean flute.
Joshua and Dillian Whyte hopefully at the end of the year for the British.when Wlad calls it a day, there's some good talent coming through - Joshua, Whyte, Price, Joseph Parker, Joe Joyce (Joe is class)
Shame to see price going out like that. I don't know what happened with him, if he just couldn't recover mentally from the first loss or what. He had all the talent to reach the top.
