Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.  For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.

I found that scene very moving where Brad finally reveals his faith to the evangelical comrade.

The ending was so far fetched. Typical Hollywood. Overall it was good.

I guess I'm on the other side of the fence on this one.

I thought the movie was far fetched, slow moving, and just dumb. For chrissakes, the German tanks in the movie couldn't have hit water if they fell out of a boat. I kept expecting Brad Pitt to break into his Lt. Aldo Raines character from Inglorious Bastards.

The German 88mm main gun was such a game changer on the battlefield. If the Germans could have cranked out as many of them as the Soviets cranked out those T-34 tin cans, we would all be speaking German right now.

That last sentence. I hate when people say that. No conceivable way Germany was going to win ww2. Maybe take Europe. .. but the states no way.

If you live in America, no, Europe yes. I know you're probably just being a bit over the top.

That said, how bad would it have been....

A turn of phrase. I suppose a Cold War would have emerged between the nazis in Europe and the U.S.
