I truly believe trump can win nomination without ever taking firm stances on most issues.  I do.  HH6, you're a very smart person, and you demand to know if trump is still anti-gun or wants to raise taxes on wealthy.  I don't think those supporting him in polls today care.  They're low-education, low-income, the polls made that clear.

At this point in my life I believe it's time to give up the hope that the American people will ever elect the right people, stop re-electing the wrong people to Washington. That in my lifetime ( 35-40 yrs left) our government will start being about what's best for the country and not what's best for their party. So to get all riled up over who wins or doesn't win in the next election just seems like a lot of wasted energy. I will be happier if I just sit back and watch the circus.. and smile at people who truly believe "If only my party were in charge we'd fix it"... and sip some wine

I was just telling someone yesterday that if it is Clinton v. Bush in 2016 that I will seriously consider sitting out.  Got scolded, and I'm probably just blowing smoke, but I'm pretty disgusted too.
